Summary

Take a Child Outside or (TACO) week is dedicated to just that- giving children a chance to play in nature! This program is an initiative of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and held in cooperation with partner organizations worldwide.

Description

Come take a walk in the fading light of the Preserve and learn more about some of the creatures that wake up when the sun goes down! In this family friendly event, we will play some games to practice using our other senses to help us at night and we will follow clues on our hike to learn about some of the nocturnal animals that live in the Preserve. We will finish our evening with a story told by candle light and a cookie in our hand!
