Summary
Enjoy and learn in a new way! You and your child will enjoy and learn from hands-on experience in the Preserve. Each Safari is themed around a different science/citizen science project. Best suited for children ages 5 and above.
Price: Free for ages up to 3 years old. $7.00 per person ages 4 - 12. $10.00 per person ages 13 and up. 25% discount for Blue Heron members.

Description
Explore the Preserve with a Blue Heron naturalist in hunt of some of the amazing rocks of the Georgia Piedmont. We will make a rock collection, use our rock hammers to see what’s hidden inside and get a close up look under a microscope. We will learn some of the techniques used by geologist to help identify what we found!
