Second Saturday Safari: Marsh Madness

Enjoy and learn in a new way! You and your child will enjoy and learn from hands-on experience in the Preserve. Each Safari is themed around a different science/citizen science project. Best suited for children ages 5 and above.

Price: Free for ages up to 3 years old. $7.00 per person age 4 and up, 25% discount for Blue Heron members. 

Enjoy a wetland bio blitz! A bio blitz is a nature scavenger hunt to find as many different species as we can during our time together.
We’ll take nets, microscopes, bug catchers, and ID guides with us to explore the wetlands.
A trained naturalist will guide you through the mud to look for some of our hidden creatures and beautiful plant life of the Preserve.
