Blue Heron Summer Camp and Nature Weeks: Trailblazers Camp

Trailblazers Camp is open to children ages 8 - 13, and runs weekly from 9 am - 4 pm. This camp is designed to offer our older campers increased challenges in the outdoors. It will follow the same schedule of themes as our Great Blue Heron Camp, but activities will be designed to meet the increased abilities of older children. Participants will also travel to our field education centers for camp, and get to explore the full 30-acres of Blue Heron Nature Preserve. These types of excursions are reserved for our older campers, and reflect their ability to handle increased challenges and broader world experiences than our younger campers.
